Six years ago, this love story started with a SpareRoom listing

Liza, having recently moved to the UK from America, advertised online that she was searching for a flatmate.
What began as two strangers becoming flatmates slowly turned into something neither of them planned for. As Liza says in her vows, she found “not only my flatmate, but my soulmate.” Proof that sometimes you’re not looking for love. You’re just looking for someone to split the rent.

They held their wedding day at the beautiful Lancrigg in Grasmere, along with family and friends from both sides of the pond.
Even though the weather was typical of the Lake District (yep, rain), it didn't spoil their fun one bit.
